Welcome to Longhorn State Notary Professionals TX. We are committed to professionalism, integrity, and convenience helping individuals and businesses make their documents official, anytime, anywhere. To ensure a smooth and efficient appointment, please review the following terms and conditions.
Section 1. Legal Disclaimer
1.1 I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
1.2 I am prohibited from providing legal advice or accepting fees for legal services.
1.3 Notaries may not advise clients on the contents, meaning, or legal consequences of any document.
1.4 Clients requiring legal guidance should consult a licensed attorney.
Section 2. Identification Requirements
2.1 A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required for all notarizations.
2.2 Acceptable forms of ID include:
Texas driver’s license or state ID
U.S. passport
U.S. military ID
Other government-issued identification containing a photograph and signature
2.3 Expired, altered, damaged, or photocopied IDs cannot be accepted.
Section 3. Fees & Payments
3.1 Notarial fees are charged in accordance with the State of Texas fee schedule.
3.2 Additional charges may apply for mobile services, including travel time, mileage, or after-hours appointments.
3.3 Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advance.
Section 4. Mobile Notary Services
4.1 Travel fees will be disclosed and agreed upon before the appointment.
4.2 The signer must be present at the scheduled location with valid identification.
4.3 If the signer is unavailable at the agreed time and location, a cancellation or rescheduling fee may apply.
Section 5. Cancellations & No-Shows
5.1 Clients are asked to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
5.2 Same-day cancellations or missed appointments may result in a service fee.
Section 6. Document Readiness
6.1 All documents must be complete prior to notarization but not signed.
6.2 Notaries cannot draft, provide, or make corrections to client documents.
6.3 Clients are responsible for reviewing their documents in full before the appointment.
Section 7. Remote Online Notarization (if offered)
7.1 Clients must have reliable internet access, a device with video/audio capability, and valid identification (example listed in section 2)
7.2 All RON sessions will be conducted in compliance with Texas law and securely recorded.
Section 8. Privacy & Confidentiality
8.1 All personal information, identification, and documents shared during the notarial process are handled with strict confidentiality.
8.2 Client information is never shared with third parties, except as required by Texas law.
8.3 Notarial records are stored and maintained securely in accordance with state regulations.
